Changes

Guess we were ready to see a black president huh?
sigh
history was made and i was a part of it

im kinda mad i was in and out of the polling place in five minutes
i wanted to tell the grandkids how i waited in line for hours to vote for Obama

Don't worry
i can always put some on it.
talkin bout i had to trek up a mountain in snow and sleet with no shoes on.lol

(to the thousands that came before me: THANK YOU)
We've come so far but we've got a long way to go

Just a lil closer to overcoming

i waited in line for all of 15 minutes, and was back home by 7:15, (polls opened at 7).

i think i am going to have to add a little to my story too.

we've always been ready but God didn't think the World could handle it. So wehn he saw fit and wehn he saw that now more than ever we needed to prove the world wrong on all of its perceptions of us he ordained us to vote for President Barack HUSSEIN Obama

Ha...i feel you on that. No damn line for me, straight in and out in less than 5 minutes. I was like damn...I gotta embellish on the experience tho...

I was outside the polling place at 6:20 a.m. and they let us in early. I was the 21st person until the old, shriveled, (workers)jackasses decided to divide the lines up in alphabetical order and my place was lost and I ended up like being 61 instead. But so what? HE WON!!! :-D

Oh, by the way, I left an hour later...

lol, I am glad I waited 5 hours, it was so worth it.

Dont worry about it though, you took part and contributed in a historic moment of the World.

lmao @ snow and sleet with no shoes on...lol

it still will be a great story to tell without all of that

Well, i did wait about 2 hours & it was worth every second. Should have posted about it, but didn't.

You can tell your seeds that you did using my time. Got there around 6:20, left around 8:50.

Change is coming. Don't you love it?

I couldn't get over the city and how united we all felt at that moment. It was like a big roar went over the city and everyone started to part. And back in Arizona, most people cried.

Such is life.

I was gonna start the joint I wrote with "Somebody tell Pac we're ready now."

I didn't wait too long..maybe about 40 minutes, and about 30 of it was some BS, but it's cool. I'm happy with the outcome.

I'm mad you were in and out in five minutes. It took me about 90 minutes to vote. I wanted to be one of those five minute peoples. If it was anyone else I would've turned around and left. Maybe I would've come back and maybe I wouldn't. It's good being a part of history and on the winning side.

Definitely progress was made...and change has finally come...
